64-year-old musician and presenter Andrei Makarevich presented on his own YouTube channel the first episode of the online version of the famous Smak, which was broadcast on television for a quarter of a century. The first guest of the culinary show was Ivan Urgant, who hosted it from 2006 to 2018.
Andrey Makarevich presented the first issue of the Internet version of the Smak TV program. Its concept is the same - the host communicates with the guest and prepares several dishes with him. As expected, Ivan Urgant was the first to come to the studio of the soloist of the Mashina Vremeni rock group. At one time he replaced the musician on TV, who from 1993 to 2005 was the only face of the culinary program. The showman appeared in a gray hat, noting that he was not allowed to appear in this form on Channel One.
“Well, that has happened, my friends! I greet you! We are returning … I missed the Smak program … Still, the framework that was present there, we will no longer have, "- said Makarevich.
Andrei Vadimovich recalled that the program first appeared on screens in 1993, exactly 25 years ago, and he considered that this was a sign in order to return it, but already on the network. Together with Ivan Urgant, he cooked pasta with caruso sauce and a salad of boiled potatoes in Georgian style. Makarevich clarified that the first issue was broadcast live, but the subsequent ones will most often be published in recording. If viewers are satisfied with the format of communication, he will try to make live broadcasts.
The news of the closure of the TV project, beloved by many, was very disappointing to the audience.
