Open Olympiad “Museums. Parks. Farmsteads”, the main goal of which is to familiarize the younger generation with places of cultural and historical value. After joining the Olympiad, participants choose topics of interest to them and, receiving assignments, go to museums, parks and historical estates in search of answers, and many photo reports about completed quests have already filled the network.

The sixth season of the open Olympiad “Museums. Parks. Farmsteads ", focused on schoolchildren and preschoolers in Moscow and the nearest Moscow region. Until March 15, 2019, children can apply for participation in the tournament and join hundreds of other children who go through exciting quests in various museums, parks and estates of the capital.

You can take part both in a single race and form groups, because it's more fun together. The main condition is to complete tasks on your own, without significant help from your parents. At least 150 museums, parks and estates participate in the Olympiad, and therefore schoolchildren can test their knowledge in any field, as well as discover something completely new.

After receiving a list of tasks for the selected museum, the children, together with the animal traveler, which is the obligatory mascot of the team, go to the "field work", where they look for answers, directly getting acquainted with the expositions, statues and memorials.

By the way, the competition contains both the main round and various competitions that take place throughout the academic year.
To qualify for the set-off, you must visit at least 4 museums and 1 park or 4 museums and 1 manor before March 31. After summing up the results, the winners and prize-winners will receive awards. Participants who have shown high results will be invited to the final prize game in the format of a quest-walk around Moscow.

The Olympiad is organized jointly by the capital's departments of education and culture. They position the event as the best way to culturally enrich themselves by learning a lot after completing assignments in places of cultural value.

A lot of schoolchildren, eagerly awaiting the start of the new tournament, from the first days of the opening rushed to surf museums, parks and estates, some in a friendly company, some accompanied by their parents.

Photos from the scene, in which children with a talisman in their hands are smiling broadly at the entrances to the park, diligently filling out forms, discussing issues and just getting acquainted with the expositions, are generously published on social networks
