The autumn-winter ballet season in Moscow will be marked by an abundance of premieres. Until the end of the year, the capital will host many performances, for which you can still buy tickets. Gala concert in memory of Maris Liepa, two original programs by Svetlana Zakharova, ballet classics "Giselle" and other performances.
Premiere of Svetlana Zakharova's new program MODANSE at the Bolshoi Theater
On November 26 and 27, on the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theater, the premiere screenings of Svetlana Zakharova's MODANSE program, which included two one-act ballets, will take place.
In the first part, viewers will see an adaptation of the ballet "Like Breath", created by the author of the original version, the Italian choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti, especially for Svetlana Zakharova. The second part of the program will feature the world premiere of the ballet Gabrielle CHANEL, dedicated to the life of an outstanding woman - Coco Chanel, who staged the most significant revolution in the fashion industry of the twentieth century. Choreographer Yuri Possokhov, composer Ilya Demutsky and libretto author Alexei Frandetti have created a vivid and expressive saga about the life of a real fashion queen. Svetlana Zakharova's partners on stage will be Bolshoi ballet dancers - Denis Savin, Mikhail Lobukhin, Jacopo Tissi, Vyacheslav Lopatin, Ana Turazashvili and other dancers. Both performances will be accompanied by the Bolshoi Theater Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pavel Klinichev.

“Maris Liepa. With love". Premiere on the stage of the Kremlin Palace
On December 1, on the stage of the State Kremlin Palace, a grandiose gala concert of world ballet stars “Maris Liepa. With love”, directed and hosted by Andris Liepa. The event will be held within the framework of the "Autographs and Images" project. The audience will see fragments of the best classical ballets in which Maris Liepa shone, as well as modern productions performed by world ballet stars.
The concert will be attended by the prima ballerina of the Mariinsky Theater Yulia Makhalina, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Ilze Liepa, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Dmitry Gudanov, prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater Ekaterina Krysanova, Maria Eikhvald, premieres of the Mariinsky Theater Vladimir Shklyarov and Kimin Kim, as well as Konstantin Allen (National ballet of the Netherlands), Julian McKay (Mikhailovsky Theater) and others.

"Giselle" at the Bolshoi Theater
On the stage of the Bolshoi Theater on November 21, the premiere of one of the most famous love stories described in literature will take place. Today, on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater, you can see two versions of the ballet Giselle, staged by Yuri Grigorovich and Vladimir Vasiliev. A new version of the touching love story of Giselle and Count Albert will be presented by choreographer Alexei Ratmansky. The theatrical world wonders how Alexei will surprise the Moscow audience. The scenography and costumes of the new ballet will be created by Robert Perdziola, and Pavel Klinichev will be the conductor.
All three compositions are interesting in their own way: Olga Smirnova and Artemy Belyakov were announced on the day of the premiere on November 21, Ekaterina Krysanova and Artem Ovcharenko on November 22, and Anna Nikulina and Jacopo Tissi will appear on the stage on November 23.

"Pas de deux on fingers and toes"
On December 28, Moscow will host the premiere of the unique program "Pas de deux on the fingers and toes", which harmoniously combines virtuoso violin playing and graceful choreography. Its creators decided to bring this idea to life: the world ballet star Svetlana Zakharova and the famous violinist Vadim Repin. Spectators will find bright and expressive performances in which music and movement are inextricably linked. This program has already become a hit in many cultural capitals of the world. The metropolitan premiere of "Pas de deux on Fingers and Fingers" will be supported by the Moscow Chamber Orchestra MUSICA VIVA under the direction of Alexander Rudin.

Pictures at an Exhibition
On November 21, the Natalia Sats Children's Musical Theater will host the premiere of the unique ballet Pictures at an Exhibition, timed to coincide with the theater's birthday. This production by choreographer Kirill Simonov and artist Vyacheslav Okunev embodies fairytale fantasies from childhood on stage with expressive characters and bizarre plot twists. Such different genres as culinary show and stage pillow fight, light show and classical ballet divertissements harmoniously coexist on one stage. In the production, the classical music of M. Musorgsky is masterly combined with its today's version, created by our contemporary Wolfgang Mitterer.
