The legendary dish, which has become the symbol of the Swedish company IKEA, can now be made at home. And that mind-blowing sauce is also quite easy to portray in Russian cuisine.

The company decided to reveal the main secrets in order to support everyone who is in self-isolation today and cannot get out to IKEA to buy a wardrobe, a bath curtain and, of course, eat those very meatballs. Agree, this was the main incentive for a trip to a huge home supermarket. So, go to the nearest store, buy the necessary products and, at least in your imagination, be transported to the abode of furniture with the most unpronounceable names.

✓ minced pork - 250 g
✓ finely chopped onion - 1 pc.
✓ minced garlic clove - 1 pc.

✓ whole milk - 5 tablespoons
✓ egg - 1 pc.
✓ salt and pepper to taste
For the sauce:

✓ wheat flour - 40 g
✓ vegetable broth - 150 ml
✓ beef broth - 150 ml
✓ heavy cream - 150 ml
✓ soy sauce - 2 teaspoons

Cooking process:
1. Mix the ground beef and pork, add the chopped onion, garlic, bread crumbs, egg and stir until smooth. Add milk, salt and pepper.
2. Roll the minced meat into balls, put them on a plate, cover and refrigerate for two hours to keep the meatballs in shape.
3. Pour some oil into a frying pan, and when it is heated over medium heat, put the balls and fry them evenly on all sides.
4. Heat the oven to 180 degrees. When the meatballs are crusty, place them on a baking sheet and place in the oven for 30 minutes.
5. To prepare the sauce, melt the butter in a frying pan. Add flour to it and stir for two minutes. Then add vegetable and meat broth and continue stirring. Finally add the cream, soy sauce and mustard. Bring to a boil and let the sauce thicken.
6. Best served with meatballs and potatoes.
