The main question of 2020: when will the coronavirus pandemic, which has affected the lives of people around the world, end. Many experts are confident that the situation will not change until 2022, but virologists at the Vector Center believe that the epidemic in Russia will be stopped in the next eight months.

The coronavirus epidemic has become the main event of this year, it has changed the lives of millions of people. Experts regretfully predict that the difficult situation will continue for the next few years. But virologists of the Vector Center are much more optimistic about the future. According to their version, over the next eight months, there will be a mass vaccination of fifty percent of the population of Russia.

This will be enough to create herd immunity and defeat the epidemic. Virologists are confident that the infection itself will persist, but its scale can no longer be called an epidemic. Experts at Vector believe that each of the vaccines they have developed is 95% effective. If one substance does not work, then each person can try to vaccinate with a different option.

In the near future, "Vector" is releasing four more vaccines against coronavirus, based on counteracting stomatitis, influenza A virus and measles. The center's specialists themselves have already experienced the effectiveness of the first Sputnik V development. They reported that most employees developed antibodies within a month.
