Flavia Lacerda is a Brazilian model known all over the world. Her story is somewhat reminiscent of a fairy tale: the girl worked as a nanny and one day, when she was traveling in Manhattan by bus, the editor of a fashion magazine approached her and suggested that she think about working as a plus-size model. Lacerda thought it was a joke, but decided to give it a try. Flavia has been featured in magazines such as Glamor, Vogue Italia, Redbook, Plus Model, Beautiful and many others. She also starred for many celebrity brands: Torrid, Igigi, Fashion Bug, Kmart and Mar & Nua. In 2011 she won the Plus Size Model of the Year award at the Full Figured Fashion Week.
