Psychologist Natalia Lawrence from the University of Exeter (UK), together with colleagues, has developed a mobile application with which you can lose weight.

Professor Natalia Lawrence offers images of food in her free android app, from which you need to choose healthy foods. Just 10 minutes a day of contemplating healthy food leads to a loss of calories in the daily diet by an average of 200 kilocalories.
The app is based on neuroscience, which suggests that people tend to eat more fatty and sweeter foods because they trigger a reward system in the brain that stimulates the production of dopamine and endorphins. The program created by Lawrence and her colleagues allows for the formation of different preferences. By ignoring unhealthy foods and stimulating interest in healthy foods, we retrain the brain, scientists say.
The study involved 83 people who used the program four times over seven days. During this time, they managed to lose weight and, on average, reduce the nutritional value of the daily diet by 220 kilocalories.
