The likelihood of the introduction of quarantine in the near future is increasing, and visiting gyms is highly undesirable due to the coronavirus. However, this is not at all a reason to put off a healthy lifestyle for later. A Hollywood trainer working with Blake Lively and other stars shared some of his favorite exercises to do at home or in the park.
Blake Lively gave birth to three children, but after each birth she manages to easily get back in shape and delight fans with a slender figure. Of course, one cannot do without a personal trainer. Blake has long worked with Don Saladino, who also has collaborations with Ryan Reynolds and Emily Blunt.
Don was interviewed and shared his favorite exercises that he always uses when working with clients. One of the undoubted advantages of exercise is that it can be done at home or in the fresh air, because going to the gym is not recommended now.
1. Push-ups. This is a classic exercise that engages the entire body, including the core muscles. The trainer recommended doing 3-5 sets of 5-10 times, depending on your strength.
2. Lunges. During the lunges, you work on the quads, calves, and glutes, and also engage all the joints of the legs - from the ankles to the hips - which Don thinks is very important.
3. Cardio. Don believes people underestimate sprint. Running long distances is optional. Coach Blake Lively recommended a 10-15 meter sprint with an increase in speed on each set and a minute of rest in between.
4. Jumps to the sides with landing on one leg. “Most people are not used to using the elasticity of their own muscles. Jumping from side to side allows you to raise your heart rate, open your hips and work quickly,”says Don. He advises beginners to take their time, but people in good physical shape should jump as fast as possible. The exercise can be used as a warm-up, but with caution.
Don notes that these exercises have a positive effect not only on the appearance, but also on the human immune system. Proper nutrition and regular exercise will normalize the quality of sleep, and this is the key to health.
