Free virtual camp Easy Breezy from Novakid online school of English for children and adolescents opens access to a new block of classes every week. Participants will have lessons with native speakers, master classes for the development of creativity and an animation festival. The activities of each week are dedicated to different topics: hobbies, music, sports, culinary arts, the world of professions, animals and travel.
The theme of the fourth week of Easy Breezy Virtual Camp is “All About Food”. From August 2 to August 9, participants of the virtual camp will be offered five cartoons in the original from directors from the UK, USA and Ireland, three entertaining English lessons and three culinary master classes.
For younger participants, the cautionary tale of Bapoto the lion cub, unable to growl, from The Squeakiest Roar, and an episode of Puffin Rock, the popular Netflix animated series about the adventures of the inhabitants of the picturesque Irish island, await you. And children, whose parents are not indifferent to affectionate nicknames, will like the mischievous "I'm not a mouse!" The story of the girl Lucy, who turns into a real mouse every time her mother calls her a mouse, is voiced by Sinead Keenan, the star of the TV series In Still Water and Irish in Dublin.
Children will be able to reflect on the meaning of real friendship together with the space heroes of the cartoon "Planetary Motion: The Story of Pluto". And, for sure, they will want to learn something new about the history of their family after watching the autobiographical "Diary of My Grandfather", dedicated to the artist Byron Levy.
A special part of the program was prepared in cooperation with the legendary film studio "Soyuzmultfilm", which celebrates its 85th anniversary this year. Selected episodes from five animated series have been dubbed into English with subtitles.
In open English lessons with native speakers, campers will embark on an exciting gastronomic journey. Children will get acquainted with the main hits of national cuisines: from Japanese sushi to Argentine empanadas. They will learn unusual facts about already familiar products and, of course, will learn many useful words and phrases on the topic of food and even learn how to independently order in a restaurant in English.
Master classes will be an excellent opportunity for camp participants to try their hand at the culinary art. The guys will surprise their relatives with a colorful dessert and delicious summer sandwiches. They will also brew the famous Harry Potter butter beer (of course, non-alcoholic). Due to their simplicity and lack of complex ingredients, the recipes will satisfy even the youngest chefs.
Finally, the children will have a drawing of prizes from the Soyuzmultfilm film studio, ELARI company, Haribo marmalade manufacturer and Novakid online school. It is enough to post a photo or video of any craft or cooked dish created during the master classes on Instagram, Likee or TikTok with the hashtags #EasyBreezy_Camp and #Novakid. The organizers will choose the brightest and most creative works throughout the camp. Gifts will be sent to winners anywhere in the world!
